Standard appointments suit one straightforward concern. Please book a long consultation for several issues, mental health, care plans or complex discussions. Urgent requests are triaged by the clinical team.

Doctors are independent practitioners and set their own fees. The practice currently lists the following common consultation fees:

Dr James Peng: standard $95 (rebate $45.05), long $140 (rebate $87.10), acupuncture $140 (rebate $85.80).

Dr Jean Ong: standard $95 (rebate $45.05), long $165 (rebate $87.10).

Children under 16 are bulk billed. Health Care Card holders and pensioners may receive a discounted fee at the doctor’s discretion. Payment is required on the day by EFTPOS or credit card, excluding American Express. Fees and rebates can change, so please confirm when booking.

Telehealth may be available when Medicare eligibility requirements are met. Some conditions still require an in-person examination, and your doctor may ask you to attend the clinic.

Please cancel online at least 24 hours ahead where possible. A $30 fee may apply for cancellation within two hours, and a fee of 50% of the consultation cost may apply for non-attendance without notice. Exceptional circumstances may be considered.

For privacy and safe care, results are discussed during a consultation rather than provided by reception. Referrals, repeat prescriptions and other clinical paperwork also require a doctor’s appointment.

The clinic may send SMS or letter reminders for follow-up, results reviews and preventive health services. Tell your doctor or reception if you prefer not to receive them or if your contact details change.

4Cyte Pathology operates within the centre on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. Eligible pathology services are bulk billed. Bring your request form and Medicare, DVA or insurance details. Availability may change on public holidays.

Bookings are preferred, but the clinic may sometimes be able to assist walk-in patients. People with appointments are prioritised, and urgent concerns are clinically triaged. Delays can occur when doctors are helping patients with urgent or complex needs. Auslink GPs do not provide home visits.

Doctors are generally not interrupted during consultations unless there is an emergency. Reception can send your doctor a message for an appropriate response. The practice participates in My Health Record; ask reception or your doctor if you would like more information.

Telephone interpreting is available through TIS National on 131 450. For Auslan interpreting support, contact the National Relay Service. Please tell reception about accessibility needs when booking.

Your health information is private and confidential. Please first raise concerns with the Practice Manager or your doctor. If a matter cannot be resolved, Victorian patients can contact the Health Complaints Commissioner.
